Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, PAINT IN!

I will be participating in the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, Paint In, held Saturday, July 20th from 11 until 4 pm! This will be my 10th year as an artist in this amazing street party vibe event. For all art appreciators it is the Island event of the year, attracting over 30,000 people as they leisurely stroll down Moss Street taking in the variety of art created by over 160 artists. At the gallery you can hear music on the stage and there is a beer garden from 11-6 pm.

You will be able to see my newest piece, ’Blushing Roses’, before it heads to Peninsula Gallery. You will also be able to see a work in progress, a commissioned piece, that is 28 x 70” and ask questions regarding my process.

I will be located this year at 122 Moss Street, booth #70, between May and Faithful Street.

Opus Art Supplies Online Demonstration

OPUS Art Supplies offers free Zoom demonstrations which are interesting and inspiring. I am very pleased to have been invited to offer a demonstration. For those of you who were wondering when I will be teaching... here is your chance and it’s a free- bie!

About This Experience
Sandy Terry loves to capture movement and light in her work and nuanced colours observed in natural settings. She will use a stay-wet palette to build layers of acrylic pigment using opaque and transparent colours to create large, bold and dramatic 3-D-like florals. Her use of a self-taught scumbling-like brush technique helps to soften edges and blend colours.

This exhibition is an online only visual showcase for members of the FCA. It is open to all styles and subjects with no limit to size. Members were invited to unveil their freshest and most exceptional masterpieces to be showcased on the Federation website for three weeks. ​From April 1-21st

​The ArtSea Studio Tour is one of Vancouver Island’s longest running self-guided studio tours. We are pleased to present:

 Arabella is a beautiful high end Canadian Art Magazine.
I am very pleased to have an 11 page feature in this magazine! It has recently gone from thick glossy pages to an eformat during Covid times. I am happy to be featured with the amazing artists in this edition.

​This issue is full of art, artists, design and décor. As well we have sunflowers in every different shade and pies to please the palate. There is a gallery to visit, a special design project as well as two beautiful new home projects in a parade of colour. Autumn is full of colour and warmth and we hope we have captured the spirit of the season.
